This is for the same contest as http://crazyboy.gfxartist.com/artworks/143205.
I started it on february 10th and finished it today: march 5th.

Luscious his not real. He is the second personality of Asher. He is evil, all he wants his Asher's body. so, in order to possess his body, he has to frighten him. The tornado is not real. In fact, Luscious is sending the image of the tornado in Asher's mind so as to frighten him. That's why Luscious' hair is not affected by the wind; there's no wind. the lightning is made to control the imaginary tornado that luscious is summoning toward Asher. (complicated, I know...)

This came out amazing, one of your best pieces. Don't be afraid to push those skintones (don't go with one flat color, you'll get a flat result).

Nice one! Just one crit though. That lightning seems very tiny to me. That's because this lightning's width is the same when it hits his hand as it is when it falls to the ground. It's a perspective issue. I suggest to remove the lightning part that falls on the hand. Other than that great job

His left hand appears Bloated near the base of his palm, to be honest he's not scary. He looks like he should be playing guitar or something. But his fingers are to podgy for that maybe... He looks like he's not in control of the imaginary lightning you maybe should have drawn his fingers in a grasping position with his fingers clawing to the center of his hand.

Hell yeah, this work and the Cyborg make your best pieces. Your painting skill rules this time, so try to keep this up.

The black ground behind him looks so tedious since you should have added some more colour tones to it. I don't like the lightnings. I think real lightnings are blurrier and finer but have more little branches. Did you paint them or use PS filters to make them ?

This a step up from your previous pieces, not those weren't good but on this one you made a background that was more detailed and open then those previously posted. Left hand appears as if it was scanned in, since its' from has been mushed making it flat in areas. It's noticeable because his wrist is being turned to an unnatural degree. Lightning is quite realistically rendered as well, but potion that ends near dark clouds has a bit too much mist surrounding it. It may have worked better if it were more or less consistent with that seen on rest of lightning strands. Well done.

your best so far IMO! The hair is PERFECT!
The skin still has some shading/smudging/contrast issues but everything else is great! I agree with loneorbit about the hand crit. Great expression, very well done!

the perspective issue of the lightning has laready been mentioned
What I can say as a crit is that the left arm is off:
the upperarm needs to be longer and the foerearm shorter

Great idea and you do excellent hair-painting
